Brian Wojcik

Principal

A prolific solutions creator who sees the full real estate picture, Brian Wojcik serves as Principal and Owner of Wojo Realty. His focus on a holistic approach is a result of more than a decades’ experience in engineering, executive management, and real estate investing. He has grown and managed a publicly-traded company as well leveraged real estate to realize individual investment goals on behalf of companies and individual real estate investors alike. These touchstones ensure his clients benefit from a full range of real estate and financial planning options. 

In addition to ensuring solid real estate returns, Mr. Wojcik is a strong believer in real estate solutions based upon smart development. He is active in a variety of industry groups including the Green Building Institute, the Urban Land Institute, the Maryland National Capital Builders Industry Association (MNCBIA), the National Associations of Realtors (NAR), Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). He is also one of a handful of licensed real estate agents in Maryland and Virginia who possess both the NAR Green designation and Eco-Broker Certification. He will receive his Masters in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins University in Spring 2012.

Frank Serra

Senior Technical Operations Manager

As Senior Technical Operations Manager for Wojo Realty, Frank Serra oversees all phases of property maintenance, reconstruction, and construction. His facility in estimating, with near precision, timeframes as well as cost and materials, comes backed by more than 20 years' experience overseeing real estate projects that deliver the latest solutions in electrical installation, electrical troubleshooting, electrical upgrades, plumbing, heating, and air systems.

Having begun his career with Northrop Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Mr. Serra’s trusted credentials and US Government clearance led him to serve as machinist for key operations for more than a decade. In addition, he holds EPA certification in the handling, care, and disposal of small, high-pressure, and low-pressure equipments. He also works under licenses of various electrical, plumbing, and heating and air contractors, ensuring all real estate projects remain up to code as well as inspected and approved by relevant compliance entities.

Justin Brewer

Property Accounts Manager

Justin Brewer oversees day-to-day property management operations for Wojo Realty Group. Based upon nearly 20 years experience as a residential and commercial broker, Mr. Brewer combines short- and long-term thinking to realize the performance potential of client properties. Areas of focus include: Leasing up new properties, construction project management, and lease negotiation.

Mr. Brewer also holds extensive experience with commercial and residential property grant programs, such as Baltimore City Live Where You Work Program and the Maryland Community Legacy Program. This experience informs his ability to provide clients a detailed understanding of local buy/sell opportunities. Mr. Brewer holds a bachelor of science in General Business from Johns Hopkins University and is a candidate for a master of science in Real Estate (May 2012).

 

John Starling

Principal Advisor

A leading growth strategist to businesses in and beyond the Greater Baltimore-DC region, John Starling serves as Principal Advisor to Wojo Realty and its clients. Throughout his career building and developing companies, he has delivered his thought leadership on ideation and facilitation, growth strategy planning, and business development strategies to business and professional organizations including the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council, The Maryland Governor's Tourism Conference, as well as corporations and educational institutions such as Microsoft, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and the University of Maryland. 

A committed and active member of the Baltimore business community, Mr. Starling’s past and present board membership and advisory roles include: Board of Directors for the Hoffberger Center for Professional Ethics, Board of Governors for the University of Baltimore Alumni Association, Selection Committee of the Baltimore Incentive Awards Program, as well as advisor to the University of Baltimore School of Communications and Design, Partnership for Learning, and Healthcare for the Homeless.

Lisa Singh

Communications Consultant

Lisa Singh serves as communications consultant to Wojo Realty Group. With dual experience in corporate and major media markets, she is equally versed in message development and cross-platform communication. A versatile writer, her work has appeared in a variety of national and regional newspapers and magazines. In addition, she has written corporate communications on behalf of a variety of businesses, including Fortune 500 companies. A resident of Washington, DC, Ms. Singh is a graduate of Columbia University Journalism School.

Jen Pieterson

Office Manager

Jennifer Pieterson­ manages office operations for Wojo Realty Group. With a diverse background in delivering accounting solutions for real estate companies, Ms. Pieterson oversees day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, billing and financial reports.

In her role, she is responsible for creating owner statements for the group’s clients; she also assists with preparation of contracts, as well as financial packages consistently provided to the group’s community of property managers, vendors and real estate investors.

Ms. Pieterson received a Bachelor of Business Management and a minor in accounting from The University of Baltimore.
